  2. SMS Program Description. ExaCare Notifications provides text message notifications related to one-time passwords, account-based alerts such as referrals, tasks, document updates, and other service-related information connected to the ExaCare platform. These messages are intended to support identity verification and/or to keep users informed of important updates and relevant activity regarding the ExaCare platform.
  3. Opt-In. You opt in to receive SMS messages from ExaCare by providing your mobile phone number through the ExaCare platform and affirmatively consenting to receive text messages from ExaCare.
  4. Opt-Out Instructions. You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message received from ExaCare. After opting out, you will receive a confirmation message, and no further SMS messages will be sent to your mobile phone number unless you re-enroll. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.
  5. Customer Care. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply “HELP” to any message for more assistance, or contact ExaCare support directly at help@exacare.com or (914) 278-2396.
  6. Message & Data Rates. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving text messages according to your mobile plan. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. ExaCare is not responsible for any such charges.

If you choose to receive one-time password codes by text message, we will send one message per login or verification request. If you choose to receive SMS-Based Account Alerts, you may receive messages on a recurring schedule (for example, batch windows) or in response to specific events such as new referrals, updated documents, and task assignments.
  8. Carrier Disclaimer. SMS delivery is subject to carrier availability. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  9. Privacy. If you have any questions regarding privacy, please read our privacy policy (Section 13 – SMS Communications), available at:  https://www.exacare.com/privacy/#sms-communications
